Alicia Doherty has more than 30 years of experience directing scientific research and health communications projects that advance science and disseminate health information to positively impact Americans lives. She has served as chief operating officer, vice president, corporate monitor, and project director on various contracts across federal agencies. Ms. Doherty oversees projects in all practice areas for quality performance, contract compliance, budget stability, resource allocation, and staffing. She interfaces with the executive team and contributes significantly to corporate and contract strategic planning, fiscal management, business development, contract operations, and team building.

Ms. Doherty has worked under U.S. Department of Health and Human Services contracts for the National Institutes of Health, including the National Cancer Institute, National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism, National Institute on Drug Abuse, and the National Library of Medicine. She also managed programs for the Health Resources and Services Administration; Food and Drug Administration; Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (Center for Substance Abuse Prevention and Center for Substance Abuse Treatment); Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality; and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. She has also managed projects for the National Science Foundation, Environmental Protection Agency, and the Small Business Administration. Ms. Doherty earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from the University of Maryland.
