The U.S. Small Business Administration’s HUBZone program fuels small business growth in historically underutilized business zones with a goal of awarding at least 3% of federal contract dollars to HUBZone-certified companies each year.

Strategix works with the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) Program Office to support and spur much-needed economic activity in urban and rural communities by managing Customer Service Support for SBA’s Historically Underutilized Business Zones (HUBZones). HUBZone, designed to help small businesses thrive in economically disadvantaged areas and employ the local workforce in those areas, perfectly aligns with Strategix’s mission of Advancing American Families. Supporting Customers

Strategix takes great pride in managing the customer service support functions for the HUBZone program and ensures an effective and efficient process in certifying and recertifying HUBZone businesses by triaging, tracking, and responding to customer support inquiries. Strategix developed and continues to manage a process to receive and respond to customer inquiries, including questions related to SBA policies, regulations, application procedures, and statutes. Within 24 hours, our highly trained staff reviews, researches, and provides answers to most inquiries or escalates high-level questions to the SBA Program Office.

Leveraging Data

Our team securely tracks, categorizes, and maintains or archives program data in a central repository. Using advanced data analytics, we provide SBA with program metrics, including trend analyses, that allow SBA to assess program information and performance accurately. We developed and currently maintain a customer service dashboard to report weekly and monthly progress on response rates, resolution times, and provide recommendations on reducing the volume of inquiries to ensure SBA customers receive accurate information in a timely fashion. Strategix also conducts regularly scheduled eligibility assistance phone calls twice a week to provide program information to interested businesses.
